About us

The Trevor Collins Foundation was set-up by Brenda Collins in memory of her husband Trevor who died from bowel cancer on 10 July 2008.

We aim to create awareness of the early symptoms of bowel cancer within the:

  • medical profession
  • general public

To increase survival rates of bowel cancer patients we need effective early screening. Trevor was misdiagnosed twice.

We will locate financial sponsors for patients in order to provide life prolonging drugs not available on the NHS.

To help deal with the emotional and day-to-day effects of living with bowel cancer we provide patients and their families with essential counselling.
